First Post

So this is the travel blog that I said I was going to do. Finally got around to it. No pictures yet, but they will come as soon as I find an internet cafe with a card reader. Or when I buy one. We shall see.

I landed in London Wednesday morning, and got right on the tube to Marina's house, which is where I'm staying in London. Once you get the hang of it, the tube is really easy to navigate. It's a lot quieter than American subways that I've been on. I got here, took a shower, and turned back around to Cambridge to see Jeff, a good friend of mine from Paramus. He took me punting, which is a British form of boating. It's similar to the gondolas in the Venice canals. Was kinda romantic... Hmm.

Went out, came back, and I've been bumming around London since then. Went to the Tate Modern with my (half-)sister, which was fun. There's a lot of weird stuff in there. A lot. Of really weird stuff. And some cool things too. Had lunch with my father. Got to go out with a childhood friend from when I used to live here.

Pictures will be much more exciting than text, and I promise to put them up when I can. Talk soon!

  1. Awesome! Glad you're doing a blog about all this. Be cool to follow your travels. Unless you slack and don't post. Fucker.
